Strong Growth Continues for ENGEO Tauranga

The Bay of Plenty has seen plenty of growth in the past few months with the continued expansion of the ENGEO Tauranga office. In April Jamie Lott, a Geologist from London joined the team just prior to New Zealand’s lockdown. This week we welcomed Kim de Graaf, a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, to the ENGEO family.

Originally an Accountant with a mathematics and statistics background, in 2009 Kim decided to start a PhD in Geotechnical Engineering (University of Canterbury), focusing on numerical modelling of rock avalanches and debris flows. She began working in consulting while completing her PhD with involvement in a range of projects from small commercial buildings through to large infrastructure. Kim brings valuable expertise as both a Chartered Engineer and being Geo-Accredited with Tauranga City Council.

Max McLean, ENGEO’s Tauranga office leader says, “We are thrilled to be welcoming new staff to the team and to be serving our clients with further local expertise.”
