Marching north with our coffee mugs and raincoats, ENGEO is now in Seattle

ENGEO is expanding our footprint to the Pacific Northwest. Led by Siobhan O’Reilly-Shah, our new office is located in the vibrant University District of Seattle. Siobhan brings expertise in transportation, healthcare development, commercial development, master-planned and mixed-use development, and infrastructure to the area. Notable projects include the redevelopment of Treasure Island in San Francisco, Encinal Terminals in Alameda, Brooklyn Basin in Oakland, Sutter Medical Center in Santa Rosa, and the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) Oakland Airport Connector.

“I am passionate about collaborating with owners and design teams to develop optimized solutions that minimize the risk and cost overruns. Many of the projects that I have worked on include redevelopment of sites near or on the waterfront. Shallow groundwater and difficult soil conditions can make these sites especially challenging, giving our teams the opportunity to creatively mitigate various geotechnical hazards.

The Seattle region has many of the same geotechnical challenges as the Bay Area. Besides, this city has the rain, lakes and mountains that I deeply enjoy. I cannot wait to apply my skills to help build this beautiful city!”
