ENGEO are looking for a senior hydrologist to join our water services team – join us as we expand our hydro capability across New Zealand!
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced consultant to take on a high impact role in a growing team. You will enjoy autonomy paired with support as you drive projects forward and help to develop the ongoing success of our team.
In this role, you’ll bring technical depth to analysis, design, and reporting, while also ensuring successful project delivery and strengthening ENGEO’s hydrology capability across New Zealand.
You will be a well-rounded consultant, combining technical delivery with client relationship management, identifying and creating opportunities to expand our water services offering.
You’ll work closely with our current water services team, as well as our ground engineering, and contaminated land teams on a range of complex work spanning land development, buildings, infrastructure, natural hazards, and more.
Our local water team is small – currently three surface water and five groundwater consultants – but we’re well connected, delivering projects across NZ, Australia and the Pacific! While working very closely with our California-based water team, too.
This position can be based in any of our New Zealand offices, but you will need to work across a broad geographic area and different time zones.
What will you be doing?
We are looking for an hydrologist with an extensive background in engineering consulting. Ideally your technical experience includes both land development and infrastructure projects.
Furthermore, you will be someone who works from a place of proactivity and ownership, you’ll enjoy looking after your clients, and keeping a steady hand on your projects.
