ENGEO NZ | Covid-19 Update Friday 20 March 2020

The COVID-19 situation continues to develop in New Zealand, and we are aware that this is an uncertain period which is concerning to many.

We would like to update you regarding what actions ENGEO is taking to ensure staff wellbeing while we continue to serve our clients and remain aligned with the Government’s focus on containing COVID-19.

Keeping Staff and Clients Safe
We are focussed on the wellbeing of our staff and clients. While our offices currently remain open, we will ask clients if they are comfortable meeting in person or if they would prefer to meet via alternative means.

We ask that you please pre-arrange appointments before coming into our offices. We also request anyone who has returned from overseas travel in the past 2 weeks, are showing flu-like symptoms or feel unwell, to refrain from coming into our offices and instead email or phone us.

Our field staff will continue to undertake field investigations and inspections but have been advised to adopt additional hygiene measures including distancing themselves from others on site.

Following guidance from the Ministry of Health, all ENGEO hosted events have been postponed until further notice.

Our Business Continuity Plan
We have initiated our business continuity plan in preparation for changes to the NZ Governments policy regarding COVID19. We are taking all precautionary steps to reduce risks and mitigate disruption, in order to provide services to our clients.

• ENGEO staff who have recently travelled abroad have been self-isolated and are working from home. We have also restricted staff travel, and reduced in-person meetings throughout the entire company.
• All ENGEO employees are equipped to work remotely from home and have secure access to our systems. Therefore, should staff be required to self-isolate we will be well positioned to provide services to you.

Our dedicated team are closely following the New Zealand Ministry of Health guidelines so that we can respond to the shifting nature of this situation.

You can keep up to date with any changes to our services here on our website or on LinkedIn.

We hope that you all keep well, take care of yourselves and families through this time of uncertainty.
